Company Participation
· When a dancer chooses to join the team, they have to decide, along with their guardians, to be 100% committed to the company and the guidelines set forth in the Company contract.
· All Classes are mandatory as stated in the Company contract.
· Attendance is mandatory throughout the year for company members. Competition dancers may miss no more than 5 classes from September-May. If they miss any classes the week prior to a competition they are not allowed to perform in that competition, even though it will have been paid for. Serious illness or injuries are exceptions with a doctor’s note.
· The competition schedule can become rigorous at times and requires full support of each company member. Please read over all forms to ensure you understand the level of commitment required.
Competition Season
· Competition season runs from February to May and only occur on weekends.
· Competition fees run about $30 -$50 per dancer if they are in a group and solos, duos and trios may be more expensive.
· All Company members will compete in 3 competitions per year.
(There are no refunds for competition fees.)
· Rehearsals may increase during competition season. Absence is not acceptable.
Requirements
· All Company members are required to purchase a company warm-up suit and dance bag, that will be purchased through the studio with the studio logo.
· Signature of company member and parent on Company Contract
· Performance Company it is a wonderful way to build self-esteem, discipline, improve dance and performance skills.
· The team will have the opportunity to win awards and placement on the regional and national level. We look forward to a successful competition season
